The new Xbox Live game for Windows Phone is Final Fantasy



Like every Wednesday before,today Microsoft introduced a new game in the Xbox Live marketplace for all owners of a Windows Phone devices, now is the time of Final Fantasy.

Final Fantasy is one of the most beloved video games and role-playing adventure ,where you prepare your army and battle the evil demons in order to save the world. 

Tentacles is this week Xbox Live title of the Week



This week Xbox Live title of the week is Tentacles.Tentacles has been developed and released by Microsoft exclusively for its mobile operating system. 

From the description in the WP marketplace we can read:
Press lightly on the screen, and Tentacles of the 40 test levels splits fingers and thrilling boss fights, you'll be surprised to find innovative and intuitive playability.
Think fast, act with caution and continues eating. The enemies will impede and you have to tear their eyes while trying to defeat Dr. Phluff, the mad scientist. Where will this battle end? Guess! No, we did not own!
Dr. Phluff has always interfered in the order of nature and this time tried to create the cutest animal ever conceived. But he failed. In a disaster, but not totally unexpected series of events has created a being of darkness. Dark, no heart and no desire to be kind, good nor pretty. Yes, he created YOU! A slimy black blob with three tentacles, a claw, and an endless hunger for eyeballs.

Naver's Line messenger arrived on Windows Phone



Line,the messaging system designed by Naver, is not that well known in Europe or in U.S, but the application has actually taken hold in Asia and for some time is available for several operating systems, Windows Phone included .

Nokia releases Voddler exclusively for its Lumia devices. Available in select markets



Nokia has released yet another exclusive app for its Windows Phone Lumia smartphones. The app in question is Voddler , video-on-demand service that allows streaming of the latest movies and TV series.
Voddler was presented at the Mobile World Congress in February and is currently available for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Spain.

GMaps Pro is now free for all Windows Phone users, but just for today

Nokia Maps could become the default mapping app for the next Nokia Windows Phones


The agreement between Nokia and Microsoft has always proved a very solid and deep so that the  the Finnish manufacturer with more privileges in order to change the mobile operating system from Redmond. As we have observed several times, in fact, Nokia has decided to customize the icon of the Marketplace in the Tango build by inserting a 'No' in the tile store.

ChatON in now available for Windows Phone, exclusively on Samsung devices



Samsung finally has brought its proprietary IM client Chaton to Windows Phone,but only as an exclusive for the devices belonging to the Samsung brand.
At the moment we do not know if this decision is final or not, although it is very likely that sooner later, the program does its appearance on Marketplace generic , as on other platforms, is already freely available even on different brand phones.

Battleship - A modern naval battle game in multiplayer mode

Another important goal for  Windows Phone marketplace has been reached today, according to a scan performed by  AAWP , the number of applications / games published in Windows Phone marketplace passed the 100,000 mark.

Today the popular Nokia Maps app was updated to version 2.0 implemented a number of interesting features.

Nokia Transport App 2.1 Beta now Available For Download


Nokia continues to treat very convincingly the software exclusively dedicated to the Lumia devices. Nokia released a new update for its Nokia Transport app,that allows you to plan your trips inside the more than 400 cities in the database application. The new update expands the options for trip planning, improved search functionality and performance.

Pool Pro Online 3, Galaga Legion DX and other titles for Xbox Live are going to land soon on Windows Phone


Microsoft has been adding more and more titles to its Xbox Live lineup.Asphalt 5, Gun Bros, Mirror's Edge and Final Fantasy are just some of the games that are part of the list unveiled by Microsoft, including two new titles from Bandai Namco: Galaga Legion DX and Pool Pro Online 3.

Here is complete list of applications/games can not be used on all Windows Phones with 256 MB of RAM



Nokia Lumia 610,the new entry level Nokia Windows Phone is still struggling with some apps and games that are not compatible with the desired specifications restricted by the low RAM amount.
So, after listing some of the titles are not compatible, we now offer the most accurate statistics of games and applications that are not (yet) supported by Windows Phone with 256MB of RAM (Lumia 610).

Chickens Can’t Fly is this week Xbox Live Deal of the Week



Chickens Can't Fly is a game developed by Microsoft Studios for Xbox live, already seen in the free version of Windows Phone as the "Chickens Can Dream", a fun game that shows we are committed to helping the birds to escape the clutches the dangers that will arise along the levels.Chickens Can't Fly is this week Xbox Live Game of the Week and now a dollar cheaper (but only for a week). Chickens Can’t Fly is now the Xbox Live Deal of the Week. The game usually goes for $2.99 but right now you can get it for only $1.99.


Angry Birds running on Nokia Lumia 610 (video)



Although it has been removed for use in Nokia Lumia 610 due the compatibility, because of the  small amount of RAM, there are those who have succeeded in installing Angry Birds on their Nokia Luma 610 and  decided to show it on video. The game, as you can see runs on the device but unfortunately there are some slowdowns which hopefully will be resolve by Rovio as soon as possible.

Microsoft releases its Photosynth application for Windows Phone!



Here comes the Windows Phone marketplace Photosynth, the popular Microsoft application that allows you to take and share pictures taken in landscape mode to 360 degrees.

Last year when Microsoft released  Photosynth for iPhone OS , many users wondered when it would arrive this on Windows Phone since David Gedey Photosynth Group Program Manager in charge of development of this software had declared that they were at work on the version for Windows Phone .

Windows Phone 7.5 is now necessary to continue to use the Marketplace




Microsoft has announced that from May 22, you must have Windows Phone 5.7 Mango on their smartphones to continue to download applications and games from Marketplace.
As of yesterday, in fact, Microsoft has announced that the devices that still  does not mount Windows Phone Mango,will not be able to download, purchase or review applications and games from Windows Phone Marketplace .
