iStunt 2 coming to Xbox Live for Windows Phone

Xbox Live comes a new title that, despite the winter is now behind us, leads us to assume the role of a snowboarder struggling with all kinds of stunts on the snow.
The game gives us a 2D vertically scrolling and in a manner similar to Sonic will ask us to collect stars scattered through the various levels so as to increase our score. Also interesting is the pattern of the paths that goes from linearity and there is also facing portals and gravity loops, all controlled by motion sensor in the cell.
iStunt 2 offers altogether 88 levels with various unlockable snowboards and drivers as they continue in the game. We have to wait to buy it on March 28 at $2.99 on WP Marketplace.

Microsoft patents virtual gaming glasses and helmet for Windows Phone and Xbox

It seems that plans for the future of Microsoft's gaming industry covering a mix of past and future and they can be discovered by a patent registered in Q3 2010 and published March 15, 2012.
These are two ideas that could be used for Windows Phone and Xbox 360 (or the next generation of Xbox) which take 3D glasses and a helmet for virtual reality.
Simulated by a virtual screen display mounted on helmet / glasses that allows the peripheral vision to sense its surroundings and at the same time creates a stereoscopic image using the laser. Yet it is unclear the precise working and future applications, as well as we do not know if the system is indeed transformed into an accessory for gaming soon.
Sure, it would be a good idea, especially if associated with Kinect to bring the player deeper and deeper into the virtual worlds of various titles.

Xbox Live game Gerbils Physics for Windows Phone hitting the Marketplace on March 14th!

Microsoft recently announced the titles of the new games for Xbox Live for Windows Phone that are due to be released in March.

Gerbil Physics is a physics puzzler. In each level, players are presented with one or more stacks of gerbils and an allotment of bombs. The goal is to use careful bomb placement in order to knock the gerbils below a yellow line. If a gerbil remains above the line when you run out of bombs, you’ll fail the level and have to try again. Some levels throw addition kinks into the mix, like structures that must not be knocked over.

The developers report that despite the game has only 72 levels,  in the future they will release new levels of play and put some music for the game to use as ringtones for our smartphone (with a free upgrade).

Gerbil Physics comes to Xbox Live on Wednesday, March 14. It will cost $2.99. Looking a bit farther into the future, the developers plan to add new levels and ringtones via free title updates.
