Microsoft Unveils a New Look, after 25 years

Microsoft has officially revealed the new logo, that will mark all its products and services from now on will be made available to consumers. The change of its logo is announced in advance of the official release of the new release of its software platform, Windows 8, and 25 years after the last change.
As you can see the style used for the logo is what we have come to know with the preview of the new interface based on the Tiles of Windows 8 (and Windows Phone 8) and is very stylized, clean and simple.

The new logo consists of two elements: the logo and symbol. For the logo, Microsoft used Segoe font, the same as the Redmond company uses for its products and for commercial communications and marketing. The symbol, however is a modern reinterpretation of a window , a window projected onto a digital world in constant evolution with plaid red, green, blue and orange colors symbolize the most important products of Microsoft.
