Nokia signs deal with Avanade to get more Lumia smartphone and services into large enterprises


Nokia continues to work  to bring the attention of the business users for its Lumia range of smartphones. In this perspective must be framed the recent agreement concluded by Nokia with Avanade, company founded in 2000 by Accenture and Microsoft, strong experience in the field of managed services and technological solutions aimed at businesses, may be an important ally for the dissemination of Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices in the enterprise world.
The Nokia Lumia WP8 devices together with applications and services from the Nokia Collection based on the needs of the companies will be proposed by Avenade to users who in the past has shown some interest in the Lumia smartphones. 
In the recent press release announcing the new agreement between Nokia and Avanade refers to the growing use of smartphones in the enterprise , to carry out activities related to work. Avenade Nokia and you propose to make the conduct of such activities even safer, more efficient and integrated within the organization .
For example, Nokia, in collaboration with Avanade, will renew the mobile platform of a large British bank, using the handsets Lumia integrated with Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint.The two companies are working with the bank to build a new corporate hub that will allow employees to access corporate applications, feeds, and information regarding the organization, as well as user profiles and other content in Microsoft SharePoint. Avanade will integrate, in addition, a Mobile Device Management (MDM) to apply security policies to the various devices, thus simplifying the management of corporate applications.
Avanade is a subsidiary of Accenture, which, as is known, has already signed an agreement with Nokia in the past to manage the software development of the Symbian platform.During 2012, Avanade acquired Azaleos, a provider of remote management services for Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Lync that allows you to monitor and remotely manage the email and collaboration systems and communication within the company. Resources useful to convince business users on the suitability of the Lumia smartphones, integrated with the Microsoft ecosystem services, to act as a valuable business tool.
