After presenting the Windows Phone 8 at Developer Summit 2012 in San Francisco, Microsoft has left some doubt about the true potential and capabilities of the new mobile OS, announcing only that which (they say) was the bare minimum.
From the image you see above, you may notice a small oversight by the guys at Microsoft: The logo indicates that a notification of receipt of mail is the old Windows logo.
It is rumored that Microsoft could implement a real center of notifications (although this is not confirmed by anyone) that would allow any developer to implement notifications for third party apps.
