The first Lumia smartphone based on Windows Phone 8 could be presented at Nokia World 2012.The new "unofficial" rumor comes from Bloomberg. After the presentation scheduled for the month of September, the start of the sales could take place later this year, in time to take advantage of the Christmas holiday period. The source cited by Bloomberg would be a person well informed of plans of the Finnish manufacturer.
The source does not add further details on the devices presented. It is not known then, how many models will be initially introduced and what form factor use, but it seems increasingly likely that Nokia will use the important showcase of Nokia World to announce the renewal of the Lumia range. Previous rumors were referring to two models based on the new release of Windows Phone.
Until now, the Finnish manufacturer has denied any visual rumor to that effect, trying to shift attention to the current Lumia line-up
After a second quarter marked by 4 million Lumia devices sold by Nokia and third interim quarter, Nokia could close in a positive way this year proposing several Lumia WP8 devices. Recall that the Nokia World will be held on 5 and 6 September in Helsinki.
