Nokia Maps could become the default mapping app for the next Nokia Windows Phones


The agreement between Nokia and Microsoft has always proved a very solid and deep so that the  the Finnish manufacturer with more privileges in order to change the mobile operating system from Redmond. As we have observed several times, in fact, Nokia has decided to customize the icon of the Marketplace in the Tango build by inserting a 'No' in the tile store.

In fact it could be very meaningful given that Nokia is already working closely with the Bing team having already brought their own services on geolocation and traffic maps in Microsoft. The idea of a  hybrid application that includes the best services offered by the two companies could prove to be quite successful for Windows Phone from Nokia that have always made ​​very good progress in this segment.
Also the statements of the blogger is also that Nokia is working to make the Nokia Maps completely offline (although many services offered by the application require the use of the network) and to create greater communication between Nokia Maps Drive and although two app will remain distinct.
