The new Nokia Lumia 822, from Verizon officially announced

Nokia Lumia 822 is officially announced by Nokia, without too many surprises, given the trail of rumor, rumors and leaked photos spread in recent days. As previously assumed, it comes from the variation of the Nokia Lumia 820 marketed by Verizon.

Substantially unchanged the basic hardware platform, while not lacking of differences compared to the Lumia 820, as we shall see later.As for specs, the Lumia 822 has the same 4.3-inch, 800 x 480 screen as the Lumia 820, and it also has the same dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5GHz.

In the official press release, released by Nokia in the morning, do not miss the reference to some exclusive pre-installed software on your smartphone. We refer primarily to Nokia Drive + , a version of the well-known navigation software integrated into the terminals of the new Lumia could present more than available today. The Nokia 822 Verizon will arrive on the market with preloaded maps of the U.S. and also available on offline mode. There is then the reference to other applications of the Nokia Lumia as Nokia City Lens, Nokia Music and those devoted to the photographic sector as Cinemagraph, Smart and Shoot Panorama. 

As regards the compartment hardware , as mentioned in the opening, the characteristics are substantially similar to those of the Lumia 820. On closer inspection, however, it can be seen that the Nokia Lumia 822 includes a front camera of 1.2 megapixels , while the Lumia 820 uses a VGA module. Another difference relates to thebattery that has a capacity of 1800 mAh (1650 mAh in the case of the Lumia 820).The body design differs from that of the version given to our market and will be available in three colors black, white and gray . Slightly lower, finally, weight : 142 grams for the Lumia 822, 160 grams for the Lumia 820.
