LG will not update the LG Optimus 7 to WP7.8

It seems that the owners of the LG Optimus 7 WP 7.5 smartphone won't join the WP7.8 bandwagon.The joke certainly will not be well digested if confirmed by all the national divisions of LG, it seems that the device in question does not have the long-awaited upgrade to release 7.8 in the program , leaving in fact with WP7.5 refresh.

An unpleasant surprise for the owners of this and other devices such as LG Quantum , evidently left to their fate to update the expected version of the Windows Phone OS without any support.

A WP7.com.pl reader asked them if they will be releasing the 7.8 update, and received the following response:

"Dear user, 

Thank you for contacting our customer service. We wish to inform you that you do not plan to introduce the software update 7.8 for the E900 model."

Obviously expect feedback from the national division of LG, if confirmed would be a serious shortfall for LG that has specifically told not want to join Windows Phone 8 and temporarily abandoning the entire platform, including old users!
