Want Nokia Lumia 710 Right Now? Win This eBay Auction.

Anyone looking to get their hands on the Nokia Lumia 710 a few days before a launch on T-Mobile should take note of this eBay auction going down. Unlike most eBay auctions that take place with an unreleased phone, the current bid isn’t outrageous at $295.

The seller: “pimptology2000″ has a perfect seller rating so we’re inclined to think this is a legit handset. It’s likely a T-Mobile employee won this device and is now selling it.So, if you’re hoping to be one of the first Nokia Windows Phone 7.5 owners in America, this is your chance.

Place your bid right away.

Nokia Lumia 710 apeared on T-Mobile site. No pre-orders just yet

Nokia Lumia 710 shows up on T-Mobile site.Currently, the Lumia 710 is listed as “coming soon”, yet sadly, we see no clues indicating whether the smartphone will go on pre-order or not. Still, those who are interested in grabbing one are free to leave their email so that a reminder will be sent to them when the handset goes on sale.

The mid-range 710 features a 1.4Ghz CPU, 5MP low-aperture lens and "clear black" 3.7" LCD screen with physical buttons, making it quite the nice offering especially for the low-price point of $49.95 on contract. The device is the first Windows Phone from Nokia to land on the US shores but many are expecting it to be upstaged by whatever AT&T and Nokia have to show off at CES in the same week.

Sports Tracker available on Nokia Lumia 800 and 710

GLOBAL - Premium fitness app Sports Tracker will hit the ground running when it is released for the Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 tomorrow.

Available free at the Marketplace, its developers, who originally created the app for Nokia in 2004, have been racing to get it ready for the Windows Phone format. They’ve completed the first lap to deliver basic tracking features, training diary and sync to web with social sharing on Facebook and Twitter.

But there are more features coming for what Sports Tracker developers see as a very exciting platform to develop on. And the Windows Phone tile format makes it easy and efficient for one-handed operation by fitness enthusiasts and athletes.

After launching in 2007 as a Nokia Beta Labs app, it became the company’s most popular app with millions of users. Eventually the trio who invented Sports Tracker, Ykä Huhtala, Antti Sorvari and Jussi Kaasinen took over the project as a spin-off from Nokia in 2009.
