Smoked by Windows Phone: Windows Phone won 40,522 times (99% success rate)



Despite the few borderline cases that have seen Microsoft involved in disputes with some users during the event by Smoked Windows Phone, the contest created by the software giant has had good success and now, come to an end in the U.S., it's time to give numbers.
The information came directly from the official Facebook image that shows the results of the contest, the results show that the dominance of Windows Phone with 40,522 wins or 99% success rate
They are, provided that the data are correct, only 462 users who have beaten Microsoft in smartphones speed through your challenges proposals that ranged from the weather to try two different cities to take and upload a photo on Facebook.
The numbers should be based only on the issue of USA contest, leaving out all the actions of other countries. So it seems that Microsoft has succeeded in demonstrating how their OS is better and faster to perform with the utmost simplicity, the main daily operations have just come out of the box, without optimizations, cooked ROM or custom settings.

According to theVerge,Microsoft raise the stakes in Smoked by Windows Phone challenge to $1000.Now if your phone is actually faster than a Windows Phone at completing a task, you walk away with a Hunger Games Special Edition PC, valued at over $1000.Visitors can walk into a Microsoft Store between noon and 7PM local time to challenge Microsoft to a Windows Phone speed test — winners will walk away with a Hunger Games Special Edition PC and "losers" will be offered the opportunity to swap their current smartphone for a Windows Phone.


The $1,000 Windows Phone challenge starts today, as part of The Hunger Games opening weekend, and will end on March 26th.
