Nokia Lumia 710 Custom ROM Lumiatrix ^ 7 is updated to version 4.2 with WP8 tiles

The custom rom's for Windows Phone continues to grow and improve the Windows Phone experience for the common users.Despite the higher refractoriness of the Microsoft platform to accommodate customization of pervasive operating system, independent developers continue to update the main projects dedicated for Nokia Lumia devices.Among the noteworthy projects undoubtedly is the custom ROM Lumiatrix dedicated for the Nokia Lumia 710,which  has recently received a new update,bringing the custom rom to version 4.2 

Custom Tango ROM Metro^7 available for the Lumia 710

Recently we have reported that the guys at XDA have managed to get Interop-Unlock for the Nokia Lumia 710 through a Qualcomm ROM, which incorporated an unlocked bootloader.

Well, not even a month has passed and the XDA community has managed to create the first custom ROM based on Windows Phone Tango , last update available for the Nokia Lumia 710 via Navifirm.

Here comes the first custom ROM for Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710

Having achieved the important goal of the bootloader access and modify files residing in the NAND memory the XDA community few hours ago has released the first Custom ROM for Lumia 800 and Lumia 710.    

The custom ROM is based on new firmware 12070 (RM819_059P453_1600.2487.8107.12070_002) and integrates the Interop Unlock, but unfortunately can be only flashed on Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 with unlocked bootloader (available only in the first official firmware). 

Now the XDA community will work to make the ROM available on all Lumia devices, trying to open each version of the bootloader. The flash ROM requires custom tool 'dd' (pre-installed on Linux distributions installed on Windows) and u hard reset the device. If you are interested will find information on Xda-Developers.
