The future of Nokia in the U.S. will depend on the sales of Lumia 900?

Nokia, after many years of abssence, is trying to boost its market share and its image in the United States. Given the publicity campaign carried out in collaboration with AT &T if Lumia does not reach 900 in just one quarter at least one million units sold, the image of Nokia could be heavily damaged.
"It will be an uphill struggle. The Nokia brand is lagging behind Samsung and Apple. I do not think that the phone can be successful "(Matthew Thornton, an analyst at Avian).
The price established for the Lumia 900 is almost half of that required for an iPhone. And then Nokia is looking at all the ways to revive sales in a market, the smartphone, which is driven by innovation and consumer trends.
"This will make us understand what Nokia smartphones will rise again. The United States, after the rise of the iPhone, represent the largest market for mobile devices "(Alex Spektor, analyst at Strategy Analytics).

Since 2007, when Apple introduced the first iPhone, Nokia has lost 80% of its market value. So while Nokia and AT &T refused to set specific targets for Lumia 800, quarterly sales under one million could be a big disappointment.
"It must be a number containing the word million. Nokia can not work to charge a few million in a year "(John Jackson, an analyst at CCS Insight)
Meanwhile, according to research by Deutsche Bank, Nokia and AT &T could sell 680,000 of Lumia 900 in a single quarter.
