The future of Nokia in the U.S. will depend on the sales of Lumia 900?
Nokia, after many years of abssence, is trying to boost its market share and its image in the United States. Given the publicity campaign carried out in collaboration with AT &T if Lumia does not reach 900 in just one quarter at least one million units sold, the image of Nokia could be heavily damaged.
"It will be an uphill struggle. The Nokia brand is lagging behind Samsung and Apple. I do not think that the phone can be successful "(Matthew Thornton, an analyst at Avian). The price established for the Lumia 900 is almost half of that required for an iPhone. And then Nokia is looking at all the ways to revive sales in a market, the smartphone, which is driven by innovation and consumer trends.
"This will make us understand what Nokia smartphones will rise again. The United States, after the rise of the iPhone, represent the largest market for mobile devices "(Alex Spektor, analyst at Strategy Analytics).
