It seems that Microsoft, after a the Metro name issues on Windows Phone, is beginning to make changes to its apps.
The first app to be affected by this change is that of Skype , as you can see from the picture at the beginning of the article here, has undergone a radical change in its interface.
According to the guys at Neowin, who received tests in the new version, this could be released with the arrival of Windows Phone 8 / Windows 8.
The guys at Neowin also commented about this new Skype version:
" The user interface is fluid and fast. The Skype team has done a good job and made the app more user friendly. Also to date we have not encountered any crashes or malfunctions different . "
There wasn't any other info beside the ones presented info by Neowin, so for now we must content ourselves with these few screenshots.
