According to Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is working on a 7-inch Surface tablet
According to the The Wall Street Journal , it seems that a new line of surface tablets are currently under construction in the Microsoft labs. This new series of surface tablets would carry a 7-inch display, designed especially to counter competitive products with the same dimensions, such as the iPad mini and Nexus 7.

Xbox Music will be launched tomorrow on Xbox 360, will come pre-installed on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices
Microsoft, tomorrow will release (via upgrade) the new dashboard for the Xbox 360 console. Along with it, once the download is complete, users will find the new service XBox Music , which will also be pre-installed as standard on new devices on all Windows 8 and the new Windows Phone 8 smartphones.

Surface sale starting in US from midnight of October 25th, a few hours after the New York event

Ballmer discusses the price range for Microsoft's Surface tablet
A few weeks after the debut of Windows 8 and the long-awaited tablet Surface (RT), comes an interesting interview with CEO Steve Ballmer emphasizes that what is the importance of this step for the company, even compared to the launch of Windows 95, the founder of a successful series of OS.
Answering questions from Seattletimes, Ballmer reiterated that the advent of the new operating system will be impetus for all the PC market, maybe a little distressed sales but still thriving and economically important to the Redmond company, and of course hot topic of strong interest is in surface , which in October will add additional revenue to the company, provided that the expectations of the buyers are not betrayed and the surface tablets will affordable to the general public.

Microsoft Surface with Windows RT on sale from October 26

Skull of Shogun, a cross-platform game that will allow us to play on Xbox 360, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8
As we explained in several articles, Windows 8 and Windows Phone Apollo share the same "core". This means that porting an application from one platform to another will be extremely simplified and Skulls of the Shogun it is a concrete example.

Microsoft is testing Windows Phone apps on Windows 8?
Microsoft would be trying the applications developed for Windows Phone on desktop / tablet Windows 8 platform.This at least according to statistics released by the Windows Phone "I'ma WP7."
The application that allows you to find out the percentage use of the app in different versions of Windows Phone, now also shows the desktop version of Microsoft's operating system. As we can clearly see from above 1% of users using the app used Windows 8 operating system, namely the build 6.2.8283.0.
This survey has been able to think that Windows 8 can start the applications developed for Windows Phone in order to have more than 70,000 touch-friendly applications to launch.

Microsoft changes Windows 8 logo proposing an square-style Metro look
Microsoft is preparing properly for the launch of its new operating system Windows 8 , arrived today at the Consumer Preview all'MWC Barcelona and expected to show progress also in relation to the version of the tablet dedicated to the sector. Today we reveal a little detail regarding the logo of possible adoption waiting for this release, with undulating colored windows that give way to other, Monochrome and more squared off in full Metro-style .
The new logo will also be present within the operating system featuring the immortal Start button that we find in the new system tray along with buttons for the settings for connecting other devices, for searching and sharing. Windows 8 interface arrives on jailbroken iPhone (VIDEO)
Windows 8 is definitely a highly anticipated operating system: it promises many new features, starting from the interface that now amplifies the experience of the Metro UI devices introduced by Windows Phone.
The work done by the developer of the theme is nothing short of remarkable. The user interface of Windows 8, with the known organization of the home in "tiles", has been replicated in a very faithful.
