The rumors mill so far on the new HTC smartphones with Windows Phone 8 refer to a line-up that is largely identical to that of the HTC One, based on the Android operating system.
So far, three models have been rumored and with those three Windows Phone 8 smartphones HTC is going to fight for market share for three key market segments,with its well-differentiated and tailored to different target groups devices.
So far we have know the code names of the previous spoken devices: Zenith, Rio and Accord and analyzed the possible design of one of the three models with the renderings and images from the alleged user manual. The affinity between the two lines of devices could be revived also from the point of view of suffixes accompanying the name of the individual models. Recent reports, in fact, identify the name of HTC Windows Phone as HTC 8X and HTC 8S.
HTC 8X would be the high-end model characterized by the display of 4.7 " and called to succeed the previous model HTC Titan and HTC 8S could be the device of medium-high, with 4.3" display. The sources add more details as regards the technical specifications and speculate the launch of a third model, HTC 8V which however we are not yet able to confirm it's existence.
It 's highly likely that HTC, before lifting the curtain on new smartphones Windows Phone 8, wait for the presentation of the new devices Nokia Lumia scheduled for tomorrow. The Taiwanese manufacturer should formalize the new line-up at the end of September.
