The Nokia Suite version has been updated to version 3.6.11.0 with new features and among the new features that have been made there is also one that allows users to copy the contacts, photos and calendar events to the Nokia Lumia smartphones from their Nokia Symbian, S40 and MeeGo devices .
Everything happens through a transfer of this information to your SkyDrive account from which you can later sign in with your Lumia to synchronize. To start the process simply start Nokia Suite Beta Tools menu and click on the item Upload to SkyDrive.
At the moment there are some limitations and problems of this new feature synchronization, and include:- Contact : If you have more than 100 contacts there is the possibility that not all are copied to SkyDrive. Also, if you have a contact for two mobile numbers saved, only the first will be considered because as it is known on Windows Phone 7c'รจ only one field 'phone' for the phonebook.
- Calendar : recurring events may not be copied, and then you will need to manually re-create the event on the Nokia Lumia.
- Photo : Those larger than 2048 × 2048 pixels will be scaled down.
Is pretty likely that the new stable version of Nokia Suite to be released in the coming days and especially in the later these limitations can be overcome.
