Huawei launched another Windows Phone 8 device named "4Afrika", a customized version of the previous announced Ascend W1 dedicated for the African users. The devices to be on sale in several African countries such as Angola, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa.

Rumor - Huawei will present 7.7 mm Windows Phone smartphone at this year MWC
At CES 2013, Huawei presented its first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Huawei Ascend W1. Now the Huawei chairman Yu Chengdong has confirmed that the new Windows Phone devices will be presented at the Mobile World Congress in Bacelona, which will be held in February this year.

Huawei says its ready for the launch of its smartphone with Windows Phone 8?
Huawei has focused heavily on Android during MWC 2012, showing the public a wide range of excellent smartphones based on that platform. However, with the imminent arrival of Windows Phone 8 by the end of this year Huawei also like Samsung and (maybe) Sony may decide to produce even a smartphone based on that OS, passing by a little green robot competition to the Windows Phone.
Sources close to the manufacturer will admit that the staff of Huawei is working closely with the guys at Microsoft, employing about 70 engineers for the project that could give birth to one of the upcoming smartphone with Windows Phone Apollo.

Report:Huawei will begin to develop Windows Phones in the first half of 2012
According to DigiTimes and its sources, Huawei in China would like to spread the new Microsoft OS in the first half of 2012, during which time Nokia also will attempt the same maneuver with their devices Lumia.
