The Guardian is reporting that Nokia will soon launch a new smartphone running Windows Phone 8 with PureView 41 megapixel camera, pretty much with similar of better photographic abilities as the one of the original Nokia PureView smartphone, the Nokia 808.

Chris Weber - Nokia Lumia PureView technology in development
The unofficial and official confirmation on the future integration of technology in Nokia PureView Lumia terminals were not lacking, but that we are going to bring the following can surely be considered one of the most important and unequivocal.In a recent interview Weber confirms the intention to transfer the technology into future Windows Phone PureView Lumia. As we know this is a feature now integrated into the Nokia 808 PureView based on Symbian Belle operating system and that took five years to reach fruition.

Leaked images of Nokia Windows Phone with PureView technology
Androsym managed to get some leaked slides showing off an upcoming WP handset from Nokia, boasting the impressive 41mp PureView technology.
The smartphone has a very unusual curved designed, including a curved screen and since the wp7 currently cannot support that big sensor this device probably will be powered by WP8 Apollo. Also note that the capacitive buttons look like WP7 but the menu key now bears a Windows 8 logo.
From the leaked slides, we can see that this devices will have the following specs:
- 4.3″ Curved Glass touchscreen with HD display
- 41mp sensor, Carl Zeiss lens and PureView imaging technology
- 1080p full HD video recording and Rich Recording Technology
- Dual Core processor with Adreno 320 GPU
- Windows Phone 8 OS

Nokia seeks a specialist to bring PureView technology on to Windows Phone
Nokia has not completely hide his intention to bring the technology PureView of Windows Phone devices.
Meanwhile, as was discovered on Linkedin, appeared job post for a senior specialist, Imaging Algorithms from the 19th March makes it pretty explicit that we will see the technology on Windows Phone.

Nokia Lumia with Pure View coming soon
According to Nokia,Windows Phone is not yet ready to compete with Symbian in the multimedia industry, which is why the first PureView not based on Microsoft. But things may soon change.
As was reported by the Finnish newspaper Aamulehti, Nokia is working hard to bring the Pure View technology to the Nokia Lumia range. The announcement was made by Jo Harlow, Executive Vice President of Nokia Smart Devices, without specifying an indicative period of output.
"I can not say PRECISELY when, but it will not take very long." / "I can not say precisely when, but it will not take much time."
It is possible that Windows Phone 8, then in the second half of the year, Nokia will bring a new standard of optics inside the Microsoft ecosystem.

Nokia Pure View 808 Announced; Comes With a 41MP Camera! Windows Phone in the future?
Nokia just blew our minds with the Pure View announcement. A Symbian powered device, the 808 features an astonishing 41MP sensor allowing photos to be taken in 5MP, 8MP and 38MP variants.
Nokia Pure View is due for release in Q2 here in Europe the 808 Pure View will pack a price tag of 450 Euros.
Running Symbian Belle the 808 is powered by a 1.3 GHz single core processor and comes with a 4 inch 360 x 640 screen. The Carl Zeiss camera will also record video in full HD and it looks like this one will be the camera phone of all camera phones.
Nokia obviously plans to eventually bring this kind of tech our way to Windows Phone. But the OS will need to support that and we bet it won't happen till Apollo this Fall
