LG Italy - LG Optimus 7 will not get upgraded to Windows Phone 8 (updated - LG Italy already rejected the tweet)

The last few days were full with rumors about whether or not the first-generation Windows Phone smartphones will be upgraded to Windows Phone 8.


Now the italian site Plaffo reports that LG Italy via Twitter confirmed that the LG Optimus 7 will not get upgraded to Windows Phone 8 , which will not please the LG Optimus 7 owners or in fact all first generation wp7 smartphone owners.


"Hello, no, no upgraded to Windows 8 as confirmed by Microsoft."


Update: LG Italia already rejected the tweet: 

"We apologize for the erroneous information. We are still investigating the possibility of upgrading Optimus 7
