White Huawei Ascend W1 appeared in new leaked photos


More pictures have leaked of the upcoming Windows Phone 8 smartphone from Huawei, the Ascend W1.This time the pics reveal the white variant of the upcoming device, which  according to rumors circulating on the web, will be introduced at the Consumer Electronics Association (CES) in January 2013.

To confirm this hypothesis, new images (the ones you see below) depicting the smartphone in a white color in addition to the classic blue / cyan that has always characterized the Nokia Lumia range.
The device will be inserted in the middle segment of the market and should have the following specifications:
  • 4-inch display with WXGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels)
  • dual-core 1.2 Ghz CPU
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • 4 GB of internal memory
  • 5 megapixel rear camera and VGA front
  • 2000 mAh battery 
  • removal covers 
  • NFC

The Ascend W1 could enter the market towards the end of the first quarter of 2013 mainly in China and other emerging markets in Asia. It is not excluded, however, that the WP8 device can also arrive in Europe at a price aggressive and even on U.S. sold by some US mobile operators.
