Nokia is rolling out new firmware update for Nokia Lumia 800 that will improve battery life & camera performance

Couple of days we have reported that new firmware update is coming to Nokia Lumia 800. Now it seems the testing is over and Nokia has begun rolling the firmware update to users in Singapore and probably the rest of the world will follow soon enough. 


As has been reported by users, with this update Nokia and Microsoft should add application camera following shooting modes:
  • Smart group shot
  • Landscape
  • Action
  • Self Timer
All users who have flash their phones earlier this week and the ones that got the update via Zune, also noticed better battery life, a new Diagnostic Tool and Bass in the audio playback

White Nokia Lumia 800 coming to Finland on March 8th

The Finish site Nokia Ääni just posted that the white Nokia Lumia 800 will be available in Finland on March 8th,So far in Finland the Nokia Lumia 800 has been available in cyan magenta and black.

"We are very pleased to offer consumers a new color option. Snow 800 Nokia smartphone to turn colors and design, the heads, and offers the best features of social networks and internet usage, "says Finland and the Baltic states Sales Director Mauri Pietikäinen .

Nokia Lumia 719: Confirmation of its existence thanks to the Bluetooth certification




Among the many rumors recently seen and heard of the new Windows Phone Nokia smartphone, finally get here is a concrete proof of the existence of the Nokia 719 Lumia.



The confirmation comes from bluetooth.org , the official website dedicated to the certification of Bluetooth mobile devices, where the card appears in your database dedicated to the Nokia Lumia 719. The information that are displayed are the screen 3.7 "Clear Black technology, 5 mpx camera with auto-focus and all of the software from  Nokia that we already know of.

Another curiosity that appears on the site Bluetooth.org is the geographic availability limited to American and Asian markets. We'll see if the Nokia 719 Lumia will be officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2012 to be held in Barcelona on February 29.

The official Facebook for Windows Phone now has updated to version 2.3


Microsoft is preparing properly for the launch of its new operating system Windows 8 , arrived today at the Consumer Preview all'MWC Barcelona and expected to show progress also in relation to the version of the tablet dedicated to the sector. Today we reveal a little detail regarding the logo of possible adoption waiting for this release, with undulating colored windows that give way to other, Monochrome and more squared off in full Metro-style .


The new logo will also be present within the operating system featuring the immortal Start button that we find in the new system tray along with buttons for the settings for connecting other devices, for searching and sharing. Even more interesting details that highlight the changes that are underway on Windows 8 with new features optimized for the tablet clearly addressed.

Nokia Lumia 900 pre-order notification at Play.com


We are still waiting for Nokia to make official statement for the release of the European version of Lumia 900, in the meantime the famous English store Play.com has included in its database the Lumia 900.

The Windows Phone from Nokia has been added to preorder with the possibility of signaling via email if available, but contrary to what has been done by Carphone Warehouse , Play.com has preferred to leave out an indicative time for the start of sales.

At this point, considering the invitation sent to the press , is more than likely that the 900 Lumia will be announced in Europe at the Mobile World Congress, in just over 20 days.

Nokia Lumia 900 availabel for pre-order for $25 at Microsoft Stores


The smartphone is set to arrive in the United States exclusively on the airwaves of wireless carrier AT&T, and is rumored to become available sometime in March.


How ever if you are eager to get your hands on the Lumia 900, Nokia's top Windows Phone, then you might want to check out your local Microsoft Store where you can pre-order your own 900 for just $25 down.


Previous rumors suggested that AT&T customers would be able to purchase the new device starting with March 18th for $99 with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.
