Nokia Play To DLNA app is available for Nokia Lumia devices with Windows Phone 7.5 on board.
Unfortunately, this app currently is not available for new Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones, but now finally we find out why is missing.
According to what was said by Eero Penttinen, the problem lies in the lack of some DLNA components , that still need to be "activated" . Penttinen also lets you know that Nokia will release some firmware updates for both Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 by Q1 of 2013, which will provide support for sharing via DLNA.
As if that were not enough, it seems that Nokia is planning to update its Windows Phone 8 devices even before official the update mentioned above
