Nokia Lumia 610 specs and pictures leaked

Pocketnow have added to the Nokia Lumia 610 spillage by leaking 4 new renders of the handset, in white, black, magenta and cyan.  The handset will supposedly be available in these colours, and Pocketnow expects will have a 5 megapixel camera, contrary to the rumours of a 3 megapixel version.

According to the reports, the 610 Lumia should have a display of 3.2 ", a 3MP camera and 256Mb of RAM. The selling price should be around € 175.
Considering that the license of Windows Phone costs about 30 € and that a terminal will have a team of developers for at least 12-24 months so that it can be supported, so it will be convenient to launch such a product at such a low cost?
Hopefully on Monday morning we will know for sure if those rumors are true.

Photosynth for Windows Phone is already in testing

The guys from Gemind in Brazil found some references to the Photosynth for Windows Phone via Twitter - it seems that Microsoft employees create accounts on the microblogging site to test the integration with the same app. The references are strong and lead us to believe that it is only a matter of (little) time for the application to be available publicly.
"AugmentedReality PhotosynthWP_Main Build PhotosynthWP_Main_20120214.4 Pass"
"PhotosynthWP" would, obviously mean "Photosynth Windows Phone." In the picture above we can  sets of tests created in Photosynth  with Windows Phone smartphones - HTC HD7, HTC Radar, Nokia Lumia 800 and Samsung Focus.

Xbox Live game Gerbils Physics for Windows Phone hitting the Marketplace on March 14th!

Microsoft recently announced the titles of the new games for Xbox Live for Windows Phone that are due to be released in March.

Gerbil Physics is a physics puzzler. In each level, players are presented with one or more stacks of gerbils and an allotment of bombs. The goal is to use careful bomb placement in order to knock the gerbils below a yellow line. If a gerbil remains above the line when you run out of bombs, you’ll fail the level and have to try again. Some levels throw addition kinks into the mix, like structures that must not be knocked over.

The developers report that despite the game has only 72 levels,  in the future they will release new levels of play and put some music for the game to use as ringtones for our smartphone (with a free upgrade).

Gerbil Physics comes to Xbox Live on Wednesday, March 14. It will cost $2.99. Looking a bit farther into the future, the developers plan to add new levels and ringtones via free title updates.

Demonstration: DFT Bluetooth File Transfer for WP7

Jaxbot at WindowsPhoneHacker has uploaded this video demonstrating the DFT hack which allows Bluetooth File Transfer on Fully Unlocked Windows Phones.

(Homebrew) DFT releases Bluetooth file transfer utility for fully-unlocked phones

Finally, comes the first Windows Phone homebrew application that allows you to send and receive files via bluetooth device. Dark Forces Team (DFT) has just released the first version to the public.

The bad news is you'll need a fully-unlocked phone meaning dev and interop devices need not apply. That also limits this currently to Gen 1 devices

In this first version of course there are bugs, for example, if the send operation was canceled, the device saves the file already submitted or can not receive files without opening the bluetooth settings of the handset.

"Overview
Application allows to receive files via Bluetooth or send files via Bluetooth. Also application include feature to auto install received REG RGU and XAP files. So you can send XAP file from PC to your phone and it will be installed at the end.Same with REG/RGU - you can send a file and it will be applied to registry. Note file must be in UNICODE format. ANSI files don't supported by application."
